This series depicts the deep unconscious that we all know from fairytales. It’s not aways clear, in fact it is mostly a hazy memory of sorts. That is why the series carries the name “Erratics“. This neologism adresses that aspect of the unconscious, those elements that come to the surface uninvited every once in a while. We never recognize them as ours, their presence in our mind is erratic, unexpected. In the same way that the hero stumbbles through the woods in search of some great treasure, but always finds something quite peculiar standing in his way, this series engulfs the viewer in a world where up is down and down is up. The top of the trees are too far for us to see and the horizon is never quite clear.
